What are the Differences between the Como Models?

Charlie McCormick

Our clients have likened trying a Como to the thrill they felt they first jumped on a Schwinn as a kid. The upright riding position and super comfortable Cup saddle on a conventional bike would usually mean lots of aerodynamic drag and poor power transfer to the pedals. With the peppy Brose electric motor more than compensating for drag, the net result is a total giggle machine. Conventionally, an upright comfort bike would have a heavy front suspension fork - on the Como cushiony 2.3-inch 650b tires actually do an amazing job rolling over most bumps and holes smoothly - so the Como is relatively light.  The Como family stands out as a price performer in its category with standard features like a stealthy integrated battery and Shadow + derailleur system to keep your chain from dropping and slapping

On the TCD-W equipped models you connect via Bluetooth®, to the Turbo Mission Control 2.0 App, put in your destination in the mapping feature and control performance aspects of your motor. But best of all is the “Smart Control” technology where it uses an algorithm that automatically optimize motor power for the trip time or distance you are planning. If you are getting an older BLOKS model, you can upgrade to the Mission Control TCD display for around $150.

Popular upgrades include the Kinekt Body Float suspension seatpost and the Racktime rear rack with an integrated red light bar to make this the perfect city bike.
